Mycarzs company Volvo has gone on a facelift spree and most
cars in their line-up have gone under the knife. Many Volvo cars were spotted
testing recently with camouflage. Volvo has now unveiled the
pictures of these face lifted cars which
will be launched in the coming weeks. The face lift includes external makeover,
a few changes to the interior as well as under the skin with updated engines,
drive trains as well as upgrades to the technology and safety equipment for
which Volvo cars are famous for.
The cars that have been updated are the S60 sedan, the V60
station wagon, the X60 crossover, the V70 station wagon, XC70 crossover and the
S80 sedan. The only cars that have not been updated are the V40 hatchback, that
has been only recently launched and the XC90 SUV, which is going to be replaced
in the near future. The changes that have been made to the cars are mostly
external. At the front, all the cars get a new bumper design, new headlamps, a
new grille as well as new bonnet design.
The changes Volvo has made at the rear of the cars are a new
rear bumper design, new tail lamp cluster as well as new rear trims. Few
changes have been made to the interior with new instrument cluster and panels.
Volvo has updated the technology and equipment of these cars as well. All these
cars will get new engines which are more fuel efficient, have better power and
torque with lower emissions. Volvo will launch these updated cars shortly and
will do the public unveil at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show.
