Captiva is an SUV from the General motors that was launched in 2006 internationally. It has derived inspiration from Chevrolet SX3 concept car and is based on the GM theta platform. Captiva is a sturdy vehicle with sporty exteriors and a rigid body.



Well defined wheel arches, bold front grille, powerful shoulder line, silver finish skid plates, large head lamps, etc give the vehicle an aggressive look to the SUV. It is a car packed with luxury, sophistication and style, both on the inside and outside. The chrome finish door handles and rear view mirrors add an element of luxury along with the alloy wheels. Captiva is available in a diesel model that is powered by a 2.0L 1991cc engine that is equipped with CRDI fuel supply system. The engine produces a power of 150PS at 4000rpm with a max torque of 320Nm at 2000rpm. This engine delivers high performance and fuel efficiency. The company has incorporated several advanced features for the safe handling and safety of the passengers like ABS, dual airbags, traction control, engine immobilizer, etc.  Other advanced features in the car include touch screen infotainment system, electronic stability control, traction control system, brake assist, front side and head curtain airbags, hill start assist, aux input, USB port, Bluetooth connectivity, etc.
